10:00am - 7:00pm - SHORECRAFTBEER.com CRAFT BEER GARDEN
Don’t miss the ShoreCraftBeer garden located next to the food tent featuring Burley Oak and their selection of locally-brewed favorites! The craft beer garden is open during all event hours. Purchase a souvenir cup and try out the eastern shore offerings as you enjoy Sunfest’s music, shopping and food.

10:00am - 7:00pm - BEACH TENNIS
Try out this new sport which is trending eastward from South America and the west coast. Easier than pickleball and less prone to injuries, beach tennis offers a sport for the whole family regardless of age. Paddles are available for use on site or bring your own!

10:00am-5:00pm - HALLOWEEN BEACH MAZE
Sunfest brings OCtoberfest activities in-house to celebrate Halloween! The beach maze returns just north of North Division Street. Children of all ages, can enjoy a pleasant scream and laugh as they meander the sands of the giant, bigger and better beach maze! Wicked witches, pirates of the sand, scary scarecrows, ghouls in the graveyard, zombies, and more treasures will add to the excitement.

11:00am - 6:00pm - BEACH TRACTOR HAY RIDES
Grab your seat on a haybail for a relaxing hay ride along the beach of Ocean City. One of our giant beach tractors will take you under the pier and northward on a round-trip along the historic south end of the historic boardwalk. Cost is $3.00/person.

11:00am - 5:00pm - CORNHOLE COMPETITION ON THE BEACH
A Corn Hole Competition will be offered for families and friends to take on others in a spirit of casual friendly competition and fun! The corn hole games will be setup on the beach just north of the Beach stage (Sub-Event B area). Family and friends can REGISTER ONLINE or call 410.520.5185 or email, with questions.

Practice will begin at 11:00am. With the first round of competition from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. This will be followed by a free-play session until the final competition rounds from 4:00pm to 5:30pm including awards presentations.

7:00pm - SPECIAL DRONE DISPLAY
The drone display will take off from the beach north of the inlet and will be visible from the midway and beach stage viewing area and the beach along the shoreline. *subject to weather and wind

BIKE de BEACH ACTIVITIES

Friday yields to pedal power with special events for those with interest in biking. Although biking on the boardwalk is not historically allowed after 12 Noon during the four days of the event, special exception is made on this Friday. [subject to weather and tidal conditions]

9:00am - 10:30am - MAYOR'S BOARDWALK BIKE RIDE
Sign up for a two-faceted ride the Ocean City’s Mayor, Rick Meehan. The Mayor will answer questions about the Town and current events on his ride the Boardwalk from 27th Street to the Sunfest grounds. If the ride is more about fun for you, then decorate your bike and throw on a costume for the post-ride awards judging. The ride from 27th Street begins promptly at 9:00am with a police escort. 10:00am - 12:00pm - SUNRAY BICYCLE SPRINT RACE
Push those peddles harder and faster against the clock. The Sprint race offers two distances: 200 Meters for ages 15 and over and 50 Meters for our younger competitive riders. Two riders will dash north on the Boardwalk from the Amusement Pier to Talbot Street with awards for best times given at the end. Check-in and practice heats begin at 8:30am with competitive runs from 10:00am to 12:00pm. [No power-assisted bicycles] PRE-REGISTER ONLINE

10:00am - 6:00pm - DELMARVA DOCK DOGS
Extreme speed and big air come to Sunfest for three days of jumping, retrieving and sopping wet Olympian dogs! Delmarva Dock Dogs is an active local chapter of Dock Dogs Worldwide, the sanctioning body for international dock jumping, dock diving and dog performance sports. Each dog/handler competition team competes head-to-head to see who can jump the furthest (not the handler, the dog), swim the fastest and leap the highest. It’s the real deal with seasoned competitors competing for real season points and positioning toward the championships. Friday-Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm.

Bicyclists looking for parts, projects or a rare find can find opportunity at the 1st annual swap meet located just west of Sunfest grounds in Sunset Park. The swap meet is open to all vendors who wish to sell or buy bike-related products and merchandise. Vendors must register in advance for space. A 10x10 space is $25 and non-refundable. Vendor setup begins at 9:00am with vendor parking at the Whitesides Parking Lot across the street. Swap meet is open to the public from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Restrooms available on site. 3:00pm - 6:00pm - BIKE de BEACH SHOW-N-SHINE
Bring your vintage, modern or custom bike to show it off to fellow enthusiasts and other Sunfest guests. Bikes will be corralled, inspected and judged under several categories with the winners taking home trophies. The bike show takes place on the Sunfest grounds with line up starting at 2:00pm, judging from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and awards from 5:00pm to completion. Each entry is given a 6x6 space. 11:00am - 7:00pm - SAND CASTLE BUILDING WORKSHOPS & COMPETITION
It’s big sand builds at Sunfest! Get building tips for the local best of the best and learn to sculpt and create with drama and depth. Take your knowledge and bring your team for a little informal competition, judging and awards. PRE-REGISTER ONLINE

11:00am to 3:00pm - Make Your Own Watercolor Postcard with Artist Joanne Guilfoil
Join the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum for this drop in program as they bring life and color to historic Ocean City line drawings. The museum is located adjacent to the Sunfest festival site at the south end of the boardwalk.*Paid admission to OC Life-Saving Station Museum required to participate.

12:00pm - 3:00pm - THE GREAT PUMPKIN RACE
It’s a spooky take on Pine Wood Derby. Grab your pumpkin and your wheels of choice for a downhill race unlike anything you’ve ever seen on the eastern shore. Decor matters for some and competitive builders work magic to squeeze out that last drop of speed juice. Register to race and enjoy the side-by-side racing as a spectator. It's fun no matter where you choose to enjoy the experience from. Awards will be given out. Participants should register on-line but can join in on-site. North Division Street pit area opens at 12:00pm with racing underway at 1:00pm.

3:00pm - 7:00pm - OC JEEP CLUB BEACH DRIVE IN DISGUISE PARADE & TRUNK OR TREAT
The Ocean City Jeep Club brings a new take on Ocean City’s Drive in Disguise with a drive down the beach from 30th Street to the Amusement Pier. Four Wheel Drives dressed for a scare will parade along the historic Boardwalk for all to enjoy on their way south to form up for a trunk or treat Ocean City style!
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Bring your kids of all ages in costume for candy galore. The parade moves southward beginning at 3:00pm with a Halloween treat lollapalooza starting around 4:00pm.Those who wish to participate in the drive, decorating and distribution of treats must register in advance on-line. All are invited to watch the parade and take in the trunk or treat festivities!

6:30pm - 9:00pm - BEACH BONFIRE, MUSIC ON THE SAND & FIREWORKS
Saturday evening, Sunfest lays out a special night of music fun and fireworks! As the event wraps up for the evening, the beach stage comes to life with music meant for the shore and ocean. Bonfires will warm up the sand as guests countdown to a Saturday evening fireworks show. After the fireworks, enjoy the serene fall night on the boardwalk - an experience unlike the busy summer season.

To top off the experiences in and around Sunfest, guests can partake in the creation of Halloween holiday art by TC Studios for a small fee. Stand up for a great cause with American Cancer Society’s 5K run and walk, Saturday, October 22 or just stand and recognize October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sunfest is here to celebrate our residents and guests like never before.

Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services will bring you a very special demonstration of their K-9 division in support of Ocean City’s Dog Days of Sunfest! Enjoy witnessing the techniques, training and intensity of the every job of top dogs

4:00pm - 5:30pm - WEAVE POLES AND AGILITY COURSE
Focus your furry friend for this one. Let’s see how well you dog knows your commands - it’s pure concentration as you navigate your pet through a course of obstacles where time and touch matters.
